Just over a week ago, we set up shop in the BP Marketplace during Brooklyn Park's Tater Daze extravaganza. We wanted to make our presence known in the community because that's exactly where we want to make an impact.
Over a year ago, when we launched Moe123, we knew that we wanted to give back to the communities that provided us our foundation and launching pad. Mostafa and each of Moe123's board members are Osseo 279 grads - the majority are alumni of Park Center Senior High School. When we approached Park Center in 2018, we wanted to make sure that students in need of financial assistance for college had access to us. Fast forward to 2019 and our first "graduating class" of Moe123 Scholars is comprised of five talented, tenacious, and inspiring students who are busy preparing for their first year of college. We're incredibly proud and honored to be a part of their journey.
During Tater Daze weekend, we got to share that energy with the Brooklyn Park community and we're grateful. To everyone who stopped at our booth to ask us about our story, our mission, our students, our family, or even just to give that wheel a spin... thank you! We hope to see you all again soon. In fact, we'll be right next door for Maple Grove Days on Saturday, July 13 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm!
We can't wait to see how Moe123 grows in the future and we're thankful to call this community home.
